PALS Presentations are specifically designed and presented to meet the needs of each individual school and audience. Our presentations will provide parents with information and ideas on ways to support their child’s reading success at school, at home, and for life. Presentations will be upbeat and focused on ways to enhance and support reading success through parental involvement.
Topics:
Parents as Partners in Creating Lifelong Readers – This workshop will focus on research in the area of reading and the difference parents can make by fostering a love of reading. It will also provide parents with ideas and tools to enhance future success by encouraging life-long readers.
“My Child Does Not Like to Read, Can You Help?” – This workshop will focus on ideas and ways to build a love for reading at home. Parents will be provided with ideas and resources to encourage a love of reading in their children.
You Don't Have to be Famous to Become an Author! – In this presentation, PALS will share their personal stories and journeys in publishing their books and becoming authors. This presentation is geared to promote writing and inspire others to become writers. The relationship of writing and reading will also be addressed in this presentation.
